It's time for all JTV Tour Members to complete their Mandatory Cruise Guest Information and Online Registration Forms.
By doing so you will be able to print your own "SET SAIL Pass"... This is your ticket to get on Board and to Check-In without delay or problems.
You will need a PC and you will need your PassengerID/Reservation Number.
This number is on your Passenger Cruise List Information e-mailed some weeks ago!! Please do not use anyone elses ID Number.
Ship board life exists as a "cashless" society.
Minors who are not travelling with Family will have to discuss with their Carer/Chaperone if they can be linked to the Adults Credit Card, with whom they are sharing a Cabin.
If you do not have a Credit card or if you do what wish ti be linked to a credit card payment system, you can opt to pay CASH or Traveller Cheques.
To do this you will need to go to the Pursers Office Counter as soon as get onboard and put the expected amount of expense CASH into your Ships Accoount. Your ship board expenses will be deducted from this amount. Any unexpended portion will be refunded before you disembark your ship.
Everyone receives and expense account/invoice in the early hours of the last cruise day.

Invoices will be distributed a little later while some adjustments are made and revised transport costs, following our confirmed flight and ground tour schedules, are received.

Grand Canyon “Skywalk” Experience
If any tour member elects to do the “Skywalk” experience during the Grand Canyon Ground Tour, the cost is $37.00 USD/$39.00 AUD. It must be Pre Paid. Please add this amount to your Final Payment cost if you elect to participate in this GC Tour experience.

The Skywalk website indicates the cost at $29.95 USD; King Airelines cost is $37.00 USD(incl. Tax)…so I don’t know what is going on???
I do know that pre payment will avoid long lines and wait time if purchasing tickets at the Grand Canyon. Pre-payment means that you just walk up to the “Skywalk” with no wait time.
“Wicked” Broadway Theatre.
I have reserved 30 Tickets for “Wicked” Tuesday Evening, 30th Sept. 2008 (Gershwin Theatre).
Interested theatre-goers must give their names to Joy this by Thursday 24th July 2008
Cost is $55.00 AUD/Person. This amount will be added to your Final Payment Invoice.
I will not be able to purchase any more tickets for “Wicked” and I will have to return unclaimed/unsold Tickets by 25th July 2008.
Additional Tour Transport & Costs
With Flights and Flight Schedules confirmed, transport schedules have to be revised and adjusted
The itinerary is updated to also indicate schedules. To make everything work smoothly, more bus transport is required on some days, in Florida & NYC. With the Split Flight Groups; Orlando to NYC & NYC to San Francisco 2 Bus Transfers are required at different times. With 2 smaller groups/bus, the cost per bus is higher/person.
I have added 2 evening shopping excursion days (and transport costs); Friday 26th (after Universal Studios Day) and Sunday 28th Sept. Children and Performers will not be disadvantaged by participating in the Disney Dancin’ Workshop on Saturday 27th Sept….There will not be a scheduled shopping excursion on that day!!
The shopping excursions will be subject to sufficient members/numbers to cover the cost of transport.
I have scheduled private transport for 9.00.p.m. on Sat. 27th Sept. from EPCOT Centre where the Dance Workshop will be conducted. With young children involved, the late end to the days schedules, and the delay and time involved with Disney transport, it seems best to have our own private bus transfer, back to the hotel. By 9.00.p.m. the Epcot Centre Illuminations & Fireworks Spectacular would have concluded and the EC closes.
I estimate the additional transport services …Orlando/Florida Sector - $19.00/person; Orlando Shopping $5.00/person each way.

There are two (2) flight groups for the Flight sectors Orlando-New York(LGA) and NewYork, LGA to San Francisco(departing at different times). There will be a CATW tour conductor with each flight group to make sure that your departure, arrivals, trasfers and hotel check-ins run smoothly.
The Flight groups are being revised. following some recent changes to the JTV Tour group numbers. The revised group list should be available in a few days.
Flight Centre Insurance
Some JTV members may have processed their Flight Centre/Travel Insurance via the "Covermore" insurance underwriters website. The 20% Insurance discount will not apply in these cases.
If Travel Insurance is issued through Flight Centre, Runaway Bay, the 20 % discount will apply, and FC, RA will be able to assist and help members with those policies, in the event of any insurance claim.

Departure - Sydney to USA
JTV Tour group is confirmed to Fly to USA/Las Vegas via Los Angeles on Friday 19th September 2008, from Sydney International Airport.
18th September 2008-Moroochydore to Sydney.
With limited flights and flight schedule constraints, it is uncertain that the JTV Tour Group can transfer, check-in and connect in time for their International Flight to the USA, if it were to depart from the Sunshine Coast on 19th September 2008.
To avoid this uncertainty, Flight Centre is holding a block Flight Reservation for the JTV Tour Group, for the 18th September (the day before their flight to the USA). This flight will depart from Maroochydoore at 8.30.p.m. A transfer from Kingsford Smith Airport/Terminal 2, to overnight accommodation will be arranged.
Transfer from your Hotel to Sydney International Airport.Terminal 1. will be arranged for 19th September 2008 at 10.00.a.m.
Return to Maroochydore on the 5th October 2008 will be “Jetstar” at 9.30.a.m. from Terminal 2. A bus transfer from Terminal 1. will be arranged.
Tour members are advised that the return domestic airfare and 1 night hotel accommodation costs are additional to the basic tour cost, Sydney-USA- Sydney.

Comprehensive Travel, Medical, Liability Insurance
Travel Insurance is mandatory. JTV tour members will need to protect themselves, their tour payments and tour components and services with adequate and appropriate Travel Insurance coverage. This should be taken at this time.
Flight Centre, Runaway Bay offers their own Travel Insurance Policy, with a 20% Cost reduction to CATW P/L tour groups & JTV members.
There are 5 categories based on Age.
- Up to 49 Years/person to include up to 2 children up to the age of 20 years- $169.60
- 50-59 Years/person to include up to 2 children up to the age of 20 years - $ 176.00
- 60-69 Years/person to include up to 2 children up to the age of 20 years - $207.20
- 70-79 Years/person to include up to 2 children up to the age of 20 years - $294.40
- 80+ Years/person.(costs on application for Travel Insurance).
*Costs are slightly higher if Insurance Premiums are paid by Credit Card.
Travel Invoices with conditions of/for Travel Insurance are with Joy Varga.
Members should read all Insurers conditions before undertaking Travel Insurance.
The above Insurance Premiums (including discount) are only available with Flight Centre, Runaway
Bay.
JTV tour members may wish to undertake their Travel Insurance with another Travel Insurance underwriter.
** Unless, Flight Centre or CATW P/L are advised that JTV members will take out Travel Insurance with
another Insurer, JTV Members will be invoiced & billed for the applicable Travel Insurance cost
with Flight Centre, Runaway Bay.

Interim Payment Due- 3rd June 2008
An urgent request for an earlier interim tour payment by June 3rd. $600.00/person should clear the shortfall in deposits and, in some cases the full cost of some components such as the Grand Canyon Flight & Tour, by agents due dates.
The interim payment was due 1st July 2008. Any further payment, prior to the Final payment ( due 6 weeks prior to departure) would be on the request of Flight Centre and Royal Caribbean Cruises for their tour components.
The Amount of $600.00/person should be made payable to Classrooms Around The World P/L and presented to JTV for dispatch to CATW P/L.
In Las Vegas
Grand Canyon (Flight & Ground) Tour is confirmed.
You will find this an exciting & invigorating experience. Planes are 9 seaters. Each seat has a window. All family groups will fly together. The tour will be conducted in 2 Groups timed for 8.00.a.m. & 10.30.am. If the tour has to be cancelled by King Airelines, for whatever reason (including bad weather), refunds will be made by King Airelines. No refunds are made if tour members cancel their GC tour.

Travel Insurance
JTV tour members are advised that Comprehensive Travel Insurance should be taken out at this stage, and certainly by the time that United Airlines full payment for airfare is due, 12th July 2008.
Flight Centre, Runaway Bay offers a 20% discount to CATW groups. Check with Joy V. if you would like to take out Covermore/Flight Centre Travel Insurance.
The discount applies only with Flight Centre, Runaway Bay.

Travel
United Airlines Flight Sydney to Orlando will be via San Francisco; UA 870 2.40.p.m. 19th September. This will allow sufficient time for Terminal transfer and check-in at Sydney International for connecting flight from the Sunshine Coast.
Things look good for all JTV members to fly on the same flight. Sydney - San Francisco & San Francisco - Sydney. Internal USA Flights may require more than 1 Flight to be scheduled San Francisco –Orlando; Orlando - NY, NY; NY, NY-San Francisco.
Disneyworld Schedule.
Performance Date is confirmed for the Galaxy Plaza Stage. Sunday 28th Sept. 2008.
Disney Dancin’ Workshop is confirmed for 6.00.p.m. Saturday 27th Sept. 2008.
Following advice of these dates, some itinerary components have been rescheduled.
26th Sept. Following disembarkation from Port Canaveral and transfer and check-in at your Disneyworld Resort Hotel; the rest of the day will be spent, at leisure at Universal Studios, Orlando. A Park Hopper Pass will be valid for both (adjoining)Universal Film Studios Theme Parks.
27th Sept. A day at leisure at your choice of Disneyworld Theme Parks.
(Dance Workshop at 6.00.p.m. Evening Shopping Option for Non- Dance
Members).
28th Sept. Performance day at the Magic Kingdom. Time TBA. Performance Schedule
