Flight Changes

  • It was inevitable that there would be Flight Group changes following the appropriate reallocation of seats to suit the unaccompanied and chaperoned tour members on flights. There are necessary Flight Changes/Schedules for some  members.
  • The Original Flight Groups have changed. CSFC have numbered the groups according to Group size. Largest Group is now group.1.
  • There is some possibility of a flight & time change for the 6.00.a.m. departure groups (Groups 1 & 3) from LGA AP; NYC-Orlando 30th Sept. (Lets hope so!!! Subject to availability for the size of the group(s).

PERFORMERS – Broadway Theatre Experience Workshop

  1. Your Broadway Theatre Experience will include a vocal workshop and a “mock” Broadway Musical audition. You will require Sheet Music for the Broadway Vocals Workshop. 2 x Musical Items (2 Different Styles). No Backing Tracks. There will be a musical accompanist. That’s the way they do auditions for Broadway Theatre.

TOUR CASH.
Time to organise your USA Cash and/or Travellers Cheques.
American Express traveller’s cheques are recommended. They have lots of USA Offices and encashment can be commission free in the USA.  Same day replacement for lost/stolen cheques has worked well for CATW groups in the past.

DEPARTURE ITNERARY & SCHEDULE

Day 1
WEDNESDAY  26TH SEPTEMBER 2007
“THE LONGEST DAY”

ARRIVAL SYDNEY INTL. AIRPORT, ASSEMBLY & CHECK-IN
Groups 3 & 4.  SYDNEY – LOS ANGELES
10.30.a.m. Assemble in the Foyer Area adjacent to the United Airlines Economy Class Check-In Counters.

  1. 10.45.a.m. Check-In with your family, chaperoned group or travel group. You will need your passport and “E-Ticket”
  2. Seats have been pre-allocated. Do not ask for upgrades or seat changes as this may affect the seating allocation of others in your tour party.
  3. 11.30.a.m. Complete Departure and Immigration Forms. . Exchange Currency for $USD.
  4. Noon: Early Lunch/Snack
  5. 12.30.p.m. Assemble at Departure Gate. TBA
  6. Farewell!!! Move to Immigration Check-In and Security Check- Points. You will need your
    1. Passport
    2. Boarding Pass
    3. Departure Card
  7. Move to you’re your Departure Lounge/Gate. Do not leave your hand luggage unattended while you shop or if you leave this area.
  8. 1.00.p.m. Assemble In Your Departure Lounge/Gate.
  9. Await Your call to board your plane

Groups 1 & 2. SYDNEY – SAN FRANCISCO

Complete your customs & immigration arrival card(s) while inflight. You will need to complete the non-USA resident/visa waiver version of required forms at your first “Airport of Call” in the USA.

Customs & Immigration Procedures .

  1. Do not make any errors on your forms. You will be asked to complete a new form.
  2. Use a toilet first, if you need to. Immigration lines can be long.
  3. Getting through customs, must be a priority. As you will have a connecting flight to make (in time).
  4. Be truthful in your customs declaration. One form for Families. One form for each chaperoned passenger.
  5. Get rid of all food & organic products in the amnesty bins.
  6. Ensure that your Green Visa Waiver butt is stapled into your passport. You will need this form to leave the USA and to get back into the USA (to/from the Bahamas and on Return to Sydney).
  7. You will need to re-check your luggage after leaving customs as you will be boarding a connecting flight. Follow the signs to the connecting flights area for luggage check-in.
  8. You may have to leave your luggage unlocked. Yes!! In Los Angeles… Security procedures may vary in other airports.
  9. You will have to go through security check points again.
  10. Check that your luggage has gone through the luggage security point. Do not just leave your luggage, hopeful that it will be checked on to your connecting flight. See your luggage through the X-Ray systems.

Your priority after luggage re-check-in is to locate your connecting flight gate/lounge. Go there immediately! You can rest, refresh, eat and shop after you locate your departure lounge.
Return to your departure lounge 30 minutes prior to your call to board your flight or when called.

  1. Meet Jim Bennett LGA AP/United Airlines Terminal at the Baggage Claim Carousel. Remain in the baggage claim area until directed to your bus – Premier Coach.

Transfer

  1. 12.15.A.M. THURSDAY 27TH SEPT. To Manhattan/NYC.
  2. 1.00.a.m. ETA Check-In: Hotel Pennsylvania.

  • Flights Changes are always possible, even while on tour!!
